Memphis Smokehouse
Walking around ArtPrize and Michigan Association of Realtor (MAR) Conference and Expo at DeVos Place in Grand Rapids, MI I kept getting the smells of some good cooking on the grill. Today I think I found the source of this good smells, Memphis Smokehouse. Memphis Smokehouse is tucked in-between Bullshead and Mojo’s Piano Bar across from the Amway Grand on Monroe.
Its nots a large place but they have some comfy tables and benches, perfect for those not so nice weather days. Its close enough to Rosa Park Circle or the Grand River to enjoy your meal outdoors. The decor in the restaurant has a cozy vibe, grills as cashier counters and Blues playing on the radio.
The food smelled and looked pretty good. They have some of the best comfort food you would find in Memphis from pulled pork, chicken wings, sweet potato fries, burgers, briskets, etc. I went with the Smokehouse Char Burger, described as a juicy steak burger charbroiled to perfection, topped with applewood bacon and creamy block barrel cheese. the Burger and Fries were very tasty.
Very impressed with the service, cleanness, and quality of food. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed.
