13.126. Ross Park
Ross Park is one of those parks that kind has it all with baseball diamonds, wooded, great picnic areas, over looking Mona Lake with a small beach, etc. So, normally its a great place to visit in Norton Shores for a nice family day outside. This weekend Ross Park has a ton festivities worth checking out:
13.127. Ross Park Arts & Crafts will continue to be an integral part of the Norton Shores Arts & Drafts Festival. For the 37th year, Ross Park will host over 100 craft vendors from 10 am to 5 pm. This year’s event will again feature a large assortment of craft vendors – selling jewelry, glass works, wood crafts, baskets, floral arrangements, hats, dolls, metal products, dolls, children’s and adult clothing, pottery, Christmas items, pillows, quilts, rugs, soaps, candles, furniture, and much, much more – all handcrafted by the sellers.
13.128. Arts and Drafts: I believe this is the official name of the fair, but I could be wrong. There will be a adult beverage area so you can enjoy your beverage between all the events. http://www.shoresartsanddrafts.com The Arts Drafts will have the art and crafts fair, a 5K, Car Show, and many other events.
13.129. Norton Shores Arts & Dash 5K: The 5K starts at 8:30 and all proceeds from the event go to the Muskegon County Council of Girls on the Run (GOTR), a great cause. http://artsanddash5k.weebly.com
13.130. 1st Annual Ross Park Car Show: 10:00am-3:00pm. In addition to the “Mayor’s Choice” award, there’ll be awards for the top 30 cars, plus goodie bags and dash plaques for the 1st 100 cars.
