13.120. Michigan Pirate Festival

So soon as the Coast Guard Fest ends the Pirates feel its safe to come out. So its time to start celebrating the Michigan Pirate Festival’s seventh year in western Michigan this August 5-11, 2013, in Grand Haven, Michigan, at Loutit District Library and at Harbor Island.

This year’s “Pirates Thru The Ages” event will include pirate hunters, re-enactors, literary and fantasy characters, encampments, and pirates from more eras than ever before. Come out and see for yourself what the excitement is all about!

FREE admission thru the week at the Loutit District Library and Friday evening at Harbor Island. Saturday and Sunday at Harbor Island: $5 per adult, kids with an adult are free. Feel free to dress up and play with us!

Monday’s events include:

11:00 am – Pirate crafts & Coloring (ages 3+)
1:00 pm – Jack’s Story Time (all ages)
6:30 pm – Small Arms demonstration by Hookah Joe in Loutit District Library’s 4th St. Parking Lot
7:00 pm – Small Arms discussion following demonstration with Hookah Joe
