13.113. The Getty Drive-In

July 15, 2013

The 1950’s Americana drive-in movie theatre just got better this year, the Getty Drive-In in Muskegon has new digital projection for brighter better projections of first run movies. The Getty has been in the Muskegon area since 1948, the area around it has seen better days but the Getty is taken care of by Celebration Cinemas. The Getty features a kids play area, in-car stereo sound, digital projections, a full concession stand and four, huge outdoor movie screens! Tuesday bargains are $5.00 for everyone aged 6 and over, and kids 5 and under are free! Each screen always has a double feature.

Gates open at 8 PM and Movies start at Dusk. Plenty of time for the kids to play in the park to get their Ya-Ya’s out before the Double Feature begins.

The only major drawback, CASH ONLY. The Getty does not accept Credit, Debit, or Gift Cards.
