13.96. Lewis Farm Market
This has become one of our favorite summer/fall destinations and have gone so far to even purchase a family season pass. The animals, the bakery, the produce, fun activities, the pumpkins, and feeding the animals. Lewis Farm Market is 700 acres family owned and operated that has a bakery, store with gifts & goodies, and a petting farm that includes goats, ducks, donkeys, bunnies, deer, ducks, llamas, goats, chickens, emus, and even a camel!! Animals aren’t your fun they have a giant jumping pillow, tractor/train ride, singing chicken show, pedal carts, mining company, etc. And don’t forget a great place in the fall for a day activity to get your pumpkins, cider, donuts, and a corn maze.
They have done lots of improvements in the off season this past year. The most noticeable that we enjoyed are the new concrete paths throughout the petting farms and the new bench’s along the path. For a parent of small children this is great to help the kids clean but importantly this is great for guests with special needs. I know or us our aunt will no longer have to sit in her wheel chair on the patio while we search for pumpkins or feed the animals, we now will be able to easily push her around the farm.
Lewis Farm has many events and specials that take place through out the year. Some have special admission fees and some are all included. Too many things to list here besides Lewis Farm does a great job with their website and Facebook pages so for more information visit: http://lewisfarmmarket.com
