12.7. White Lake Perch Festival

The annual White Lake Perch Festival, hosted by the White River Steelheaders, is Saturday and Jan. 23.

There will be an ice fishing tournament, fish dinner, chili cook-off and more. The event will be headquartered at the White Lake VFW, 9370 Walsh.

The fishing contests include all waters in Mason, Muskegon, Newaygo and Oceana counties, according to the White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce website.
