280. Depot to Depot Fall Color Tour of Muskegon County
Muskegon is having its 7th Annual Depot to Depot Fall Color Tour of Muskegon County on October 15, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. According to the Today Show on October 7, 2011 Muskegon area is about a week out from hitting its peak colors so this perfect timing for the Depot to Depot Fall Color Tour.
Those who register for this event receive passes to area museums, fine fall refreshments, and discounts/prizes from area businesses. Stop at all the designated sites and you will be eligible to win two round trip tickets on the Lake Express Ferry: High-speed ferry service between Muskegon and Milwaukee! Tickets are for the 2012 season.
Begin at either the Muskegon Union Depot, home of the Muskegon County Convention and Visitors Bureau, or the White Lake Train Depot, home of the White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce. Travel on Ruddiman, Scenic Drive and Southshore Drive. To enter the Lake Express Ticket Contest the cost is only $5 per entry, and includes a disposable camera, complimentary passes to various attractions and an entry form to track your progress on the Depot to Depot tour! The first 50 children will receive a pumpkin and decorations!
