255. – 278. Eat

October 6, 2011

In no particular order but some of my favorites locations in West Michigan to get a great meal.

255. Bulls Head in Grand Rapids. Not your run of the mill bar with good cuisine but also a great place for a glass of wine or drinks with friends.

256. Burdicks downtown Kalamazoo.  Located in the Radison Hotel, great bar food, great to watch a game, and great yummy comfort food to watch the game or just hang out. They get busy on big WMU weekends or big game nights.

257. Kirby downtown Grand Haven. Part of the Gilmore Collection, good food, fun bar, great place to people watch, and hang out.

258. Big Burritto in Kalamazoo. Now serves beer so they are not the place to go after the bar anymore. Huge burritos with free chips and salsa. I think every WMU student has been there in the last 15 years.

259. Mia & Grace downtown Muskegon. Fresh local organic seasonal meals that taste just amazing. One of my absolute favorites in Muskegon.

260. Hearthstone Bistro on Seaway Drive in Norton Shores. Award winning and feature in Bon Appetite magazine. Awesome food wont be disappointed.

261. San Chez a Tapas Bistro located downtown Grand Rapids. Amazing European Tapas that taste great and a lot of fun with a date or a group.

262. One Trick Pony located downtown Grand Rapids. Great pastas, burgers, and other amazing meals. Great place to eat outside if the weather is nice.

263. Bistro Bella Vita located in downtown Grand Rapids near the VanAndel Arena. Fresh local house-made recipes that feature delicious flavors of the Mediterranean countryside. They are also know for their huge Martini menu, try the Chocolate or the 007 Bond, yummy.

264. Bite located downtown Grand Rapids. Another of the Gilmore Collection great food, great place to hang out!!

265. GP Sports located inside the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. Great place to watch the game and has all the great food expectations of the Amway Grand. Try the wood fired pizza!!

266. Handsome Henrys located on Henry St in Rossevelt Park. From Italian to pizza to prime rib to great sandwhiches and is a great place to hang out on the patio.

267. 8th Street Grille located on 8th Street in Holland. Never had a bad meal here and always have a great selection but the part that always brought me back was the soup bar, many many choices.

268. Alpen Rose downtown Holland. Upscale, fine dinning that has never disappointed me.

269. Googs in Holland. Known for their burgers and was one of the finalist on the WZZM Best Burger contest. Really good food!!

270. The Station in Roosevelt Park. Known for their burgers and was one of the finalist on the WZZM Best Burger contest. Really good chili cheese fries, burritos and nachos as well.  You always get peanut butter cup with your bill.

271. JB’s Pizza in Alger Heights Grand Rapids. I think this is some of the best Pizza in West Michigan!! They now have a small eat in dinning room!

272. Zazio’s located in the Radison Hotel in Kalamazoo. Not sure how to describe this other than unique and eclectic!!

273. The Roadhouse in Kalamazoo. Just west of WMU campus great food and to hang out to watch the game or eat out on the patio. Recommend the Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich!!

274. The Butler in Sugatuck. Great food and great place to watch the boats on the Kalamazoo River.

275. The Mermaid Bar and Grill along the Kalamazoo River in Sugatuck. Great pasta dishes with themes from all over the world with Tex-Mex, Italian, New Orleans, etc. with great fish menus. The outdoor dinning in the sumer along the river is amazing.

276. Z’s Bar located downtown Grand Rapids across from the Amway Grand. Great pizza, ribs, sandwiches and more. Great place to meet for drinks and food before and VanAndel event.

277. Lakeshore Grille on Muskegon Lake in Muskegon. Great food and lake views. All meals are awesome and recommend the Red Velvet cake!!!
