The Frauenthal Theatre is a gem along the lakeshore and is a great place to take in a show. West Michigan is lucky enough to have two great symphonies (Grand Rapids and West Michigan Symphony), The West Michigan Symphony calls the Frauenthal home. Muskegon has a weekend full of activities, restaurants, and sight seeing so don’t just make a night of it but you can easily have a day of fun and culture.

West Michigan Symphony is opening its 2011-2012 with “OH WHAT A NIGHT!” Billboard Hits from the 1960’s. Friday and Saturday, September 16 & 17, 2011 at 7:30 PM in the Frauenthal Theater. This show features Billboard hits from 1957-1969 that will have people dancing in their seats. Starring three of Broadway’s hottest leading men and featuring music by: The Four Seasons, Elvis Presley, Ray Charles, The Beach Boys, Michael Jackson, Bobbie Darrin, Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder and even the “Queen of Soul” Aretha Franklin. Scott Speck, conductor, guest artists Ron Bohmer, Tituss Burgess & Bradley Dean.
