238. Grand Rapids Hispanic Festival

September 5, 2011

As the Hispanic Community in West Michigan grows so does the Grand Rapids Hispanic Festival. In 2009, the Hispanic Festival hosted approximately 100,000 visitors who celebrated the cultural heritage of the Hispanic community through entertainment, food, art and products from Latin, Central and South America. You don’t have to be Hispanic to attend the festival just like you don’t have to be Irish to go to the Michigan Irish Music Festival. I will recommend on thing you should be when you go to the Grand Rapids Hispanic Festival, that is HUNGRY!!! The food at this Festival I think is some of the best of all West Michigan Festivals.
Here is a list of some of the food expecting at the Fest:
Arturo’s Tacos – Mexican
Chow Time Concessions – American
Jose’s Pig Gig – Dominican
La Vencedora – Mexican
Sons and Daughters of Guadalajara – Mexican
Mi Tierra Restaurant – Mexican
Caribbean Style Piña Colada
Kool A Roo Kettle Corn
Mexico’s Little Kitchen – Mexican
Good Times – Ice Cream
