201. Duck Lake State Park
If you have ever take the nice scenic drive from White Lake to North Muskegon along Scenic Drive you have passed through Duck Lake State Park. If you never have then I recommend doing more than just a drive by, its a great place to watch the sun set, to spend the day at the beach, or just hike around Duck Lake. Duck Lake State Park is a day-use park, featuring a towering sand dune; the park stretches from the northern shore of Duck Lake to Lake Michigan. Fishing, hiking, swimming and picnicking, are just some of the activities in this beautiful park.
This 728 acre park does require a vehicle permit to park or drive into the park. But if you get there early enough there is limited parking available on the east side of Scenic Drive to spend the day at the beach or to catch the sun setting.
