199. Rock The Rapids
I am truly excited about Rock The Rapids, Original Music Festival. In just its second year they have done a fine job getting a great selection national acts from across the musical spectrum. I think with the improved location of the concert village south of the VanAndel and such close access to the US131 this event has the potential of becoming much larger. The design of the event is great idea, Rock the Rapids, Grand Rapids’ Original Music Festival, is designed to serve our community with affordable concert ticket prices for quality, nationally known artists and to help build awareness and potential funding opportunities for local area organizations such as the John Ball Zoo. Because the events goal is to funnel profits to local area organizations they are riling heavily on volunteers.
