125. Tunnel Park

May 6, 2011

Tunnel EntranceNot sure if Tunnel Park is named after the tunnel through the dune or the pipes for the water treatment center across the street. But regardless this is pretty cool little park, 22 acres little. The park has plenty room for picnics and shelters for small to large gatherings. The tunnel through the dune is an easy walk to beach for all to enjoy. Great spot to visit if you need a break from the crowds during Tulip Fest in Holland.

  • Two picnic shelters (reservable)
  • North Shelter & South Shelter
  • Modern restrooms
  • Children’s playground with dune climb
  • Dune stairway
  • Picnic tables and grills
  • Seasonal concession (vending machines only)
  • Four sand volleyball courts
  • Horseshoe pit
  • *barrier free facilities include both picnic shelters, restrooms, playground, some picnic tables and grills and trails to key use areas including through the tunnel to a beach overlook deck.
