104. Hennessy’s Irish Pub & Restaurant
This is the second mention for Hennessy’s Pub on 365TTDIWM, first being back on St Patty’s day but this is their first dedicated Thing. I stopped into the Pub this afternoon to have lunch with some old friends from Dana/Seal Power/Mahle. They have done a great job transforming Hennessy’s into a pub from the old G&L restaurant that it use to be. I think its fantastic to see place like this moving into the downtown Muskegon area. Form good food to a night on the town. Now with Hennessy’s, the M.A.C., and Envy one can now start to do a pub crawl in downtown Muskegon.
The decor and the Irish music playing makes a great place to relax with friends and have a pint or two. Today I went just for the lunch, the service and the food was very good. It was grey and raining today so I was almost in Irish mood and try their Irish menu but wussed out and went with the Ruben. It was tasty but the one dish I passed on but I will be sure to try the next time was the Meatloaf, a few people didn’t even want to see the menu just went straight to the Meatloaf, it looked pretty good to when it came out.
Hennessy’s Irish Pub & Restaurant is located at 885 Jefferson Street, Muskegon, Michigan just across the street from Carmen’s in the old G&L Chili Dog place. For more information visit their website at http://hennessyspub.com/
