Hackley Library other than just going to check out books the library has three events going on today.

Ulysses Group Led by Fran Fisher, this book discussion group meets in the Julia Hackley Room of the Library on the second Tuesday of each month at 10:00-11:30 am. For more information call 231-722-7276 x 222. This month’s book is Ape House by Sara Gruen

Off the Wall–Writing and Drawing Contest for Teens</span><span>Top poems and stories will be published in Hackley Public Library`s “Off the Wall” magazine. Original Drawings, Manga & Cartoons will be printed in a special art section. See your work in print! Entries Due March 1. contest Rules available at Library. 316 W Webster. All art work must be black & white. Winners will read their work and artists will show their work at the Hackley Coffee House event Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 6:30 PM. Coffee, Eats and music.

African American GenealogyDawn Kelly, of the Muskegon Genealogical Society, will return to talk about doing African American Genealogy. Get started in this fun hobby! Free and open to the public. This begins at 6:00 pm Hackley Library is located at 316 W Webster.
