2. Muskegon Art Museum Cinema Sunday Film: Mr.Arkadin
Last big day of the holiday break, tired of football, dont want to shop, dont want to spend a ton of money but you dont want to stay at home? How about a movie but a old classic in a nontraditional movie location?
This movie begins at 2:00pm and runs 105 minutes. Guy Van Stratten is a small-time American smuggler hired by elusive billionaire Gregory Arkadin (Welles) to investigate the tycoon’s past. Arkadin claims that he remembers nothing before 1927, but as Van Stratten proceeds to travel across a shattered post-WWII European landscape interviewing the bizarre characters that knew Arkadin before he amassed his fortune, these same acquaintances also begin to turn up dead. This mysterious, Pandora’s Box-style thriller is based on Welles’ own screenplay. This film is free with Museum Membership or with Museum Admission. The Muskegon Art Museum is located at 296 W Webster Ave.For more information call 231-720-2570
